GRAMMARLY

You may know Grammarly as an online grammar checking platform, but it also offers a handbook of English grammar where you can look up the very basics of English grammar:

However, this handbook certainly does not replace the Longman Student Grammar of Spoken and Written English, the Cambridge Grammar of English or Michael Swan’s Practical English Usage, which give you in-depth explanations and lots of examples. Granted, you have to get off your computer and go into the institutional library to have a look at them if you haven’t got a copy at home, but you’ll have to check out our library sooner or later anyway, so you might as well start now.
